China Tech and Innovation
On this Berkeley SkyDeck podcast, I talked about Chinese tech and innovation. We discussed the various reasons Silicon Valley must pay close attention to the Chinese startup ecosystem. We highlighted the similarities and differences between China's tech sector and the US, the impact of the trade war on startups, and the key lessons American founders can take away from China. I argue that if the West wants to preserve its technology leadership and profit from Chinese ideas, we must study Chinese innovation.
